Main Parts of Production Line:
1. Raw Material Feeding System:

4. Calendering System:
Calender Rolls: The extruded sheet passes through a series of calender rolls, typically three, to control the sheet’s thickness and surface finish. The rolls are temperature-controlled for proper cooling and to achieve the desired surface texture (smooth or embossed).
Pressure Control: Precise control of roll pressure is essential to ensure consistent sheet thickness and mechanical properties.
5. Cooling System:
Cooling Rollers: The sheet is further cooled and solidified by passing through additional cooling rollers, stabilizing the material and preventing warping or deformation.
Air Cooling or Water Bath: Depending on the sheet's requirements, additional cooling methods such as air cooling or a water bath may be employed.
6. Thickness Measurement and Control:
Online Thickness Gauges: Non-contact measurement systems continuously monitor the sheet thickness, providing real-time feedback to adjust extrusion parameters and ensure consistent quality.
7. Surface Treatment (Optional):
Corona Treatment: To enhance printability and adhesion properties, the stone paper’s surface may undergo corona treatment, which increases surface energy.
8. Edge Trimming and Scrap Reclaim:
Trimming Knives: The sheet’s edges are trimmed to achieve the desired width and remove any uneven material.
Reclaim System: Trimmed edges and off-spec material can be recycled back into the extrusion process, reducing waste.
9. Winding and Cutting:
Automatic Winders: The finished sheet is wound into rolls for handling, storage, and transportation. Tension control systems ensure the sheet is wound smoothly without wrinkles.
Cutting Systems: For producing sheets of specific dimensions, cutting systems like guillotine cutters or slitting machines are used.
